Trying some wine to become certifiable

We’ve been heads in the books studying for a Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) level 2 online course, and had a wonderful invitation from Dorina Lindemann to visit the Plansel International Wine School last weekend to do some proper tastings in person.

Thanks also to Wilmy Matton who was teaching the course in English and for all the students who gave us interviews.

They’ll feature in the Plansel podcast episode when we’ll be visiting the vine nursery to hear all about grafting root stocks and protecting Portugal’s indigenous grapes after the phylloxera outbreak ruined Europe’s vineyards in the late 1800s.
